Meet Our Staff

Jim started selling cars for his Dad when he was 18, right after his graduation from high school. He took to it like a fish in water! You have to remember, this was the days before the Internet. Customers relied on salespeople for the information they needed. And, Jim knew all about cars and their history. But, that wasn't all. Jim found he loved EVERY aspect of the car business: the staff...the products...the activity...and, especially...the customers. If Jim were to sum up the secret of his success, he'd say " I just like and understand people". It's as simple as that. He also likes boating, fishing and golf...when he finds the time. You see, Jim is never one to shy away from hard work. In fact, you'll find him visiting his dealerships most days and into the night. Jim devoted 25 years to serving as Chairman of a dealer Ad Board. He's involved in his own advertising as well. You may recognize him from his TV ads, as many folks do. Outside of the office, he hears, "That's the new guy in town" quite often. Next time you spot him, be sure to say "hi"!

Growing up a Griffin, you'd expect John to end up in the car business. In fact, he can trace his commitment down to an actual day: at age 8, riding in the the backseat of his dad's '66 Thunderbird convertible, John said to himself, "I wanna be just like him!" The rest is history! He found he enjoyed working with people and helping them get into "cool" cars. Now that he's moved onto selling the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM brands, John thinks: "We've got something for everyone!" The Griffin dealership in Jefferson is the latest addition to the Griffin Automotive Group. You can find John on hand there to personally help you find your next vehicle. He's got a great history in the car business: starting as a Lot Attendant, working his way up in the Service Department, then onto running a dealership as General Manager. You couldn't be in better hands! John just loves to talk with customers. In his free time, John plays tennis, spends time with his 3 kids and skis (both downhill and on water). In fact, skiing takes him traveling beyond the state--to Colorado, Oregon, Utah and California. But, he always finds his way home...to the scenic roads of Jefferson, Wisconsin.
